Tulbaghia violacea ‘Dark Star’ ®

This hardy, clump-forming Tulbaghia performs well in a wide range of climates and produces fine, grass-like foliage that remains ornamental year-round. It flowers for a very long period, from spring until late autumn, with delicate dark pink blooms that provide lasting colour. The plant is extremely tough, drought tolerant and also able to grow in wetter soils. It is suitable for edging, low borders, cottage-style gardens and mixed plantings, and also performs well in containers in full sun. Once established it requires little water and very little maintenance, making it a reliable choice for many garden situations.
